About Me

Thank you for checking out my website!  I've been a Personal Trainer for 4 years which I have worked at Sparta Academy in Brentwood and Golds Gym in Thousand Oaks.

Growing up with 80's action movie stars made me want to be fit at a young age.  I started doing pushups and sit-ups daily at 10 and had my first weight set at 12.  Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy at age 6.  While growing up, before playing any sport I needed to obtain my doctors approval.  Luckily due to the emergence of MRI's at 14, my doctor was able to pinpoint the cause - a brain tumor in my left temporal lobe.  I had surgery to remove it, yet still required the doctors approval for sports.  This proved tedious and formed my determination and fortitude.  In spite of that, I excelled in HS sports (Baseball, Wrestling, Cross Country) and believed in myself, eliminating the need for doctors approval.

When HS and College sports ended, I continued to lift weights but found excitement in outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking/cycling to challenge myself. I entered events such as The Ecochallenge, Muddy Buddy, and Spartan races to keep fit.

As I got older there was less time as your career calls, there are family obligations, you're volunteering as youth coach, etc.  and just not enough time to do what you're passionate about.

I've been fortunate the last 10 years to be able to work remotely.  During that time, I pivoted to body building and fitness.

Now, I'm preparing to compete in my first show March 2025.
